The basic idea behind it, from what I know as of right now seems to be that there are layers of the multiverse we just don't have the capacity to understand, let alone actually tap into. And there are layers with what seems like limited and varied access...what's a physical plane today might be a single telepathic signal tomorrow.

- Look into the specifics of the dreams, find out constants and variables.

There are layers, and layers inside layers, and around them, and in between them. And...sometimes these exist only in the mind, but the very next day there might be a place that never existed before, won't exist tomorrow and by the end of the week will have never existed, because what makes it what it is, is always changing.

Information gathered from the nexus suggests that for the most part, access -- the first time -- is accidental. Possibly there is a guiding force; someone/something is choosing people to access the nexus in this manner. Nothing to support this theory yet.

People use a variety of means to come and go; pinpoints, portals, doors, one woman claims to use a rift in space/time.

Have no idea what I'm doing any more in this study.

A bubble universe is a world created from the quantum flux of a parent universe. The fluxing creates tiny bubbles and wormholes. If the fluxing isn't huge, a bubble universe will form, slightly varying from the parent universe in some manner. Eventually, the universe will contract and disappear, replaced by anoher bubble universe. This one may vary either a great deal or very little from the previous bubble. If the fluxing is greaer, the bubble universe will last a longer amount of time, and could even surpass the parent universe, eventually crushing it in it's wake.

If one in the bubble universes were aware of such occurances, one who was aware could theoretically move from one world to the next during contract. If one in the parent universe was aware, one who was aware could theoretically also move from one world to the next during contracts.

The worlds that can/do/will exist in a bubble universe fall under five categories: True Propositions, Possible Propositions, Contingent, Propositions, Neccecary Propositions and Impossible Propositions.

True propositions are those which are true in the actual world.
Possible propositions are those which are true in at least one possible world.
Contingent propositions are those which are true in some possible worlds and false in others.
Necessary propositions are those which are true in all possible worlds.
Impossible propositions (or necessarily false propositions) are those which are true in no possible worlds.

An example of the latter: "Melissa and Toby are taller than each other at the same time." An example of second to last would be "bachelors are unmarried". this is called modal logic.

It is true in our world that Canada won the war of 1812. In a bubble universe, it could be that they did not. Or tha there is no canada. Or no war of 1812. Or no united states. Or that Melissa and Toby are both fucking tall.

Potentially, the dreams may be caused/affected by a bubble universe...series of bubble universes? Existing in a separate layer of the nexus proper...

Need to find out more about these dreams. Greg has agreed to ask people if they'd be willing to speak with me...will need to take a lot of notes, I think.

This is fascinating. I think I'm really onto something here.

((ooc: italicised notes were given by Karra, much love darlingk))

Ms Chase convinced me to take a few days off; am using the time to start researching Greg's strange dreams. I'm curious as to if it may be related to the nexus in some way. I think it must be, as nexus exposure seems to be the only common thread in the people who are having these dreams.

I'm finding...hints. I don't want to say anything until I'm more certain of my information, but what I'm getting is...well, it's pretty exciting. I wonder if there's any way to monitor the dreams...Greg said they were strangely hard to talk about?

Dream Notes:

- Only people from the nexus seem affected. (Poss. only because only know people from nexus?)
- Require more complete list of who is affected. Will ask Greg to help.
- Find out how dreams vary and how alike they are. Ask carefully; dreams appear difficult to discuss?

Note to self:
When Key is back, talk to her about what it is she's been predicting; Greg wants me to look into it. Need more detail.

Translating any further for Ms Chase re: the ancient nexus texts...hm, seems pointless.

So, I'm trapped in a dimension not my own. Moved into an apartment across the hall from Greg Sanders...

And that was...an interesting experience. I swear I don't normally do that.
